If you’re wondering what the name Tids ‘n’ bits means.. because according to Google it’s not a real phrase!? It was born out of the movie, “The Other Sister” A massive hit with me, my mom, sister, aunt, and cousin. It was a girls’ night favorite. 

The movie is about two special needs people finding their own way in the world and exploring a romantic relationship. I won’t spoil the movie because if you haven’t seen it, you should go watch it right now. (I’ll link it below.) But in one scene, Daniel (played by Giovanni Ribisi) and Carla (played by Juliette Lewis) go out to  one of Daniel’s favorite places to grab grub. It’s a bus station that offers free Tids and Bits! 

We have watched the movie so many times that almost every line gets quoted pretty often, and this is one that sticks in my mind and is relevant to this blog! In fact, when I started wrestling with the idea of starting a blog, I knew I couldn’t taper it down to being about just one thing. Wanting it to be about anything and everything, the only thing that came to mind was, of course, Tids and Bits. So I just had to use it.
